The Reykjanes peninsula in Iceland has woken up after being dormant for many centuries. We have witnessed a series of eruptions over the last three years. I was lucks to witness the second one at Litle Hrutur last summer. We hiked for 14 mies to the volcano and back . It was an amazing adventure to cherish for a long time, and I got some great images to boot. It is quite an experience to see new earth being created as the lava fields flow and solidfy
