Cheetahs of Serengeti

This series was shot on an overcast morning in the central plains of Serengeti, Tanzania. I watched this mother hunt for hours with her cubs without success, but she gave me the opportunity to get some stunning pictures with the backdrop of termite hills and the Serengeti plains

I was fortunate to witness this beautiful Cheetah, looking for prey for her cubs under an overcast sky. The Serengeti plains are interrupted by these termite mounds which the Cheetah uses to her advantage. This beautiful animal is so well camouflaged, that it was had to see her through the lens, unless she was silhouetted against the grey/blue background.
